About the event
The third digital event is dedicated to the concepts of Motivation and Motive; we discuss how culture leaders reflect on their own motivation and motivating others. The digital seminar is moderated by Edward Rapley, with a presentation from guest speaker Chrissie Faniadis.
ABOUT THE TOPIC
To address the topic, we are inspired by Ivar Heckscher’s words: “Can we decide that motivation is the force from within out of which we do. Whereas, the motive is the factor outside ourselves that makes us want to get into interaction? … Motivation is a well to be treated and cared for, it is our own responsibility. In this seminar we will look at how to nurture and develop strategies to keep motivation flowing.” The discussion is designed as an interactive dialogue and a safe space, where everyone’s voice can be heard, in an atmosphere that fosters togetherness, despite physical distance.
